Float Committee

  • Design & build float for the Parade.
  • Zoom planning meetings & one in person to build

Admin, Office Staff, Finance

  • Help various BoD officers with attendance, collection of budgets (AP/AR), etc.

Grandstand Tickets, Security

  • Collect numbers of active members, numbers of tickets required for sponsorship Contract Agreements for distribution.
  • Work VIP/Grandstand area on Parade Day.

Milestone Membership, Historian

  • Work with older Members to continue recording, online, our history as a Parade. 
  • Tracking Membership years for recognition by Committee

Legal Counselors

  • Review contracts for Media & Sponsorships
  • Help Parade with Bylaw interpretation

Marshals

  • Run the Parade
  • On the job ‘training’ – tons of fun!
  • In-person meetings monthly Oct-Nov, Bi-Monthly January-February.
  • Final Meeting Sunday before Parade

PR, Marketing, Website, Parade Voting Set-up, Logos, T-shirts & Pins

  • Various jobs from May until Parade Day. 
  • Zoom Meetings, Media Week & Parade Day in person.

Sponsorships

  • Work with major corporate & media Sponsors, negotiating contracts.  May through March

Parade Entries/Line-Up

  • On-line work, develop sign-up for entries, etc.  
  • Zoom meetings November through Parade Day

Permits

  • Work with City to obtain all necessary permits

Event Planning

  • Queen Colleen, Pub Crawl, Christmas Party, Meetings

VIP/Member Area Set-up

  • Parade Day set up VIP/Grandstand, tear down, etc.
Whether you join one or more committees, the number of Sub-Committee meetings
you attend all count towards the two [2] meeting minimum to be considered an active member.
Additional Information:  All meetings have mixtures of Zoom and in-person meetings. 
Some exceptions are PR, Parade Entries.
