 The Queen Colleen, 2023 Competition

 New this year - Irish Princess, 2023

Queen Colleen Official Rules and Qualifications:

  • Be 21-years- old by APPLICATION DEADLINE 1/28/23
  • Will not be older than 29-years-old as of 2/11/23
  • It is preferred by not required, that:
    • you have Irish heritage, by virtue of an ancestor born in Ireland OR
    • you are involved in an Irish organization OR
    • you have an interest in the Irish community or culture
  • Not married
  • Be available to attend all obligatory Queen Colleen events listed under Queen and Candidate Event Requirements
  • Be a resident of Colorado for a minimum of six months prior to the application deadline - 1/28/2023 - and agree to be a resident of Colorado for minimum one year if crowned Queen Colleen
  • Your personal appearance, your demeanor, and attire should, at all times, properly represent the family-oriented nature of the Denver St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "Parade Committee")

Queen Colleen/Irish Princess Sponsorship Levels - (Required to be raised by contestant)

Clover Crown Sponsor: $1000

  • “Supported by” label on event content
  • 12 social media posts during Queen’s reign
  • 4 tickets to Parade Celebration event
  •  Large “Sponsored by” ad on screen at pageant
  • One guaranteed appearance at event of choice by Queen Colleen

Emerald Sponsor: $800

  • Six social media posts
  • Medium logo on Queen Colleen web page
  • Medium “Sponsored by” ad on screen at pageant

Claddaugh Sponsor: $600

  • Four social media posts
  • Medium logo on Queen Colleen web page
  • Small “Sponsored by” ad on screen at pageant

Harp Sponsor: $350

  • Two social media posts
  • Small logo on Queen Colleen Web Page
  • Small “Sponsored by” ad on screen at pageant

Irish Princess Official Rules and Qualifications:

  • Be 14-years-old by APPLICATION DEADLINE 01/28/2022
  • Will not be older than 20-years-old as of 02/11/23 
  • It is preferred but not required, that:
    • you have Irish heritage, by virtue of an ancestor born in Ireland, Or
    • you are involved in an Irish organization, OR
    • You have an interest in the Irish community or culture
  • Not married
  • Be available to attend all obligatory Queen Colleen events listed under Queen Colleen and Candidate Event Requirements
  • Be a resident of Colorado for a minimum of six months prior to the application deadline - 01/28/2023 - and agree to be a resident of Colorado for a minimum of one year if crowned Irish Princess
